On Thursday 8th June, a vote was held for the parliamentary constituency of Ashford in the 2017 General Election. The candidates and the number of votes cast were as follows:

Damian Green is therefore re-elected as MP for the Ashford constituency.

Additionally, there were two by-elections for the borough council on Thursday 8th June. These two elections were held in Victoria ward, where sadly Cllr Harold Apps sadly passed away recently, and in Bockhanger ward, where Cllr Luke Powell stood down. Both were conservative party councillors.
